Brilliant! These tongs gave amazing results on my long, thick hair; and left it in great condition. There was not the smell of hot burning hair I have had with other makes. The 25mm barrell allows you to create loose curls for a tousled natural look or tighter curls if want. I have medium length hair which is thick, so I liked the way they have a long ceramic coated barrel and I also liked the defined spiral guide on the barrel, which made curling easier. You simply wind the hair round, clipping the ends as you would with normal tongs, and then press up the button which sets the curl better.
