Hair curlers for curly-curly hair!
Review of Babyliss 2330U by
natalie271
Advantages: VERY effective on all types of hair, can make big curls, or thin ringlets
Disadvantages: No light to show when heated up
When I was given these curlers as a present i was over the moon, they had previously been recommended to me by a friend and they really are the best curlers for gorgeous perfect ringlets, that stay in perfectly for the whole day.
I have extremely thick, difficult hair that is already quite curly - just untamed! It's extremely difficult to style but these curlers managed to work their way around it, I found I could curl large sections of hair, for ... ...hair, or I could curl small sections for small, springy ringlets, that looked amazing (but took quite a long time to do!) Many of my friends have, in turn, tried these curlers and I even convinced a few of them to go out and buy some of the same curlers for themselves!
The curlers don't even take long to heat up, about 30 seconds! However, there is no light to show you when they have heated up which was slightly worrying but not really a problem.

Perfect Curls Everytime
Review of Babyliss 271CU by
angelic01
Advantages: Curls that last
Disadvantages: No different temperature settings
These Babyliss curling tongs are my favourite pair of tongs. This is because they are right the size which means they don't give you afro curls but they don't give you waves either. For me they are my number 1 choice if you want curls that amke you look like you've spent a lot of time getting ready for example...parties or your prom.
They give you curls that last and don't frizz because of the cermic plates. They are mains operated which means you ... ...socket.
As i got them as a present a few years ago, i don't know how much they cost but i know they are definitely worth however much they cost. these are prefect for people aiming for "barbie" hair as in hair that stays how you want it to.
The only downside i can thinkof is that there are not different temperature settings so they don't adjust to your hair but overall, they are still a good pair of tongs. ...

mary kate and ashley hair curlers
Review of Mary-Kate And Ashley 2102 by
jessee
Advantages: cheap,good quality
Disadvantages: the look of them is more for children than adults
I love these hair tongs! They have 2 different heat settings i personally use the hotter one and let them heat up before i use them as i find it has the best results especially on the underneath of my hair hich drops out more easily.
My hair curls really well with these and i havn't used any others that are as good on my hair as these, they create nice ringlets/curls and with a bit of hair spray they also last all night without dropping out much.

angelic curls every time
Review of Angel Curls - Carmen Girls by
Tiffroo
Advantages: great curls, cheap
Disadvantages: looks tacky
Originally created for teenagers it soon became appart to older girlies like myself that this was a great alternative to hard to use tongs budget busting tongs.
At around £15 they are cheap, but boy are they reliable, I've had mine for over three years now and apart from some of the ceramic coating chipping off they still work like a dream. OK the design is cleary one for teeny boppers and they do look cheap and tacky but you do get perfect curls!
... ...you get a kind of 1940's hollywood glamour type curl going on, shake slighty and you get a full head of springy curls and my personal fave... let it drop a bit then hairspray and put a bit of wax on and you get hippy style curls. There isn't a curl you can't make with these.
Also they are so simple, it's genius, one button to turn on and off, no heat settings. You get a little bottle of water which screws onto the top and you can press this down ...

Curly girlies!
Review of Angel Curls - Carmen Girls by
vericheri
Advantages: Makes really massive curls
Disadvantages: Doesn't work as well on some hair types
I got this product for christmas a few years ago and have hardly used it purely because I didn't particularly like the look as it made my hair too curly. Also, one side of my hair curled more than the other and it looked strange. On the otherhand, it didn't work very well with my sister and her hair hardly curled. I think this may be down to the type of hair you have. The product itself however is very good and easy to use. You unscrew the top and ... ...on and turn the curler on. After a few minutes it will work and you twist a strand of your hair round, clip it and then press the button at the top, after a little while you can unclip your hair to reveal a curl! Sometimes though I did burn the top of my hair a bit. I would recomend this to anyone who wants lovely curls and doesn't mind if their really curly! ...
