Hair curlers for curly-curly hair!
Review of Babyliss 2330U by natalie271

Advantages: VERY effective on all types of hair, can make big curls, or thin ringlets
Disadvantages: No light to show when heated up

When I was given these curlers as a present i was over the moon, they had previously been recommended to me by a friend and they really are the best curlers for gorgeous perfect ringlets, that stay in perfectly for the whole day. I have extremely thick, difficult hair that is already quite curly - just untamed! It's extremely difficult to style but these curlers managed to work their way around it, I found I could curl large sections of hair, for ...
...hair, or I could curl small sections for small, springy ringlets, that looked amazing (but took quite a long time to do!) Many of my friends have, in turn, tried these curlers and I even convinced a few of them to go out and buy some of the same curlers for themselves! The curlers don't even take long to heat up, about 30 seconds! However, there is no light to show you when they have heated up which was slightly worrying but not really a problem. ... Read review

Another hair styler, but this one's great!!
Review of Morphy Richards 22044 by pinkelephantuk

Advantages: Cheap, good hair curler, rotating cable - no tangled cable!!
Disadvantages: None really

These are curling tongs from Morphy Richards. I bought them about 2 months ago. I must say, that I am impressed with them!! I used them to put nice curls in my hair. The tongs were ridiculously cheap - under £5 in Asda! (Because talking of hair styling equipment, I've noticed hair-straighteners which cost £30 - £60!!, soo expensive!!). These heated tongs were an impulse buy, which have been fabulous. Benefits >>Very affordable! >>Cable can rotate ...
...cable. This is such a good safety feature, and makes handling the tongs so much easier. You can worry about how your hairstyle is turning out, rather than manoeuvring the appliance properly!! >>Effective at making good curls in my hair I've got thick shoulder length hair. Thick hair can be hard to style sometimes, but these heated tongs have been very effective. They come with a resting rack, which is in the middle of the tongs, which can be pushed ... Read review

Hydration Tongs
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS0042 Hydration TONG by barberanna72

Advantages: Heat up quickly and create looser curls
Disadvantages: Not too good on long hair

I bought these for Christmas as a stocking filler for my daughter who has very long hair. I only paid £9.99 for them in the pre-Christmas Sales. The outer box was very pleasing to the eye. The colour of them is nice being Lilac and Silver and the Barrel is quite large to create looser, larger curls. If you are looking for tighter more spirally curls, then they are probably not the right ones to use. Once the power is turned on, they heat up very ...
...on a hard surface and have a built in stand to keep the barrel up. After use, it is recommended that you turn the switch to off and unplug from the mains. Leave to cool before putting away. When we used the product, it created very loose curls, and it took a very long time. As I said, my daughters hair is very long and heavy, and I don't think she would manage to do this on her own. Due to the length of the hair, it took a long time for the heat ... Read review
