I'm Only a consumer - what do I know?

Advantages: 13bn generated in revenue
Disadvantages: Impact to the poor, reduced consumer spending, increased inflation

With 6 billion a year VAT fraud whats the point?

Advantages: Everyone pays it
Disadvantages: Too vulnerable to international fraud
