Why you shouldn't use Anti-Bacterial products

Advantages: Kills all known germs
Disadvantages: creates stronger germs

Antibiotics are our main weapon against bacterial infection and up until a few years ago their use was almost exclusively confined to the medical sector. However about 10 years ago they started to appear in products used within the household, initially in ...

Another Rubbish Review from the Devil!

Advantages: I put my trash in the bin
Disadvantages: Littering means fines

The great Bill Bryson once wrote in his excellent book, 'Notes from a Small Country', that when he first arrived in Liverpool as a twenty year old it was like there was 'some sort of litter festival going on', the city was that grubby. It's a lovely descr ...

Unemployment is not the only benefit

Advantages: Might get some cheats to sign off
Disadvantages: Some vulnerable people will suffer; it's a form of social cleansing

Review of Should welfare benefits be capped at £26,000?

Does it go far enough?

Advantages: It's been needed for a long time
Disadvantages: The cap should be set a fair bit lower

To be brutally honest I don’t know how anyone can argue against welfare being capped at £26,000 a year. Personally that is nearly £10,000 more than I am currently earning for working a full time week without tax being deducted, and over £10,000 over when ...
