Currys (Shop)

We have a small chest freezer, which fits perfectly inside the walk in pantry, so when it broke down recently we needed to find another one with exactly the same dimensions. Dave drove me round all over the place measuring freezers and checking prices. We found the best price at our new Currys store. So where do you go when you want a new TV, or a HiFi? I think that you will agree that Curry's is probably one of the first high street retailers that spring to mind, and for good reason too. They stock a huge range of pretty much all white and electrical goods for the home, and this is what makes them an authority in this area. ----Store---- I live in Ashford, Kent, so my review will be based upon my experience of my local Curry's superstore. Normally when it comes down to electrical goods you wouldn't find me getting anything of value from a Curry's store, this is amily due to the fact that they are part of the Dixons group. Many people have had problems with their service over the years and the stories I've heard while I was in retail were amusing. When we moved into our first house I visited several retailers and found Currys to be the cheapest with a wide range of products. As we needed a hoover, fridge, washing machine, oven and amicrowave they assured me that if Ibought everything from them they would give us a discount. I was disappointed to find that the discount was only £5 per item. When I protested however they increased the total dicount to £100 which was much more impressive. Well after a really long absense from Ciao, I'm sorry to be returning with a grudge of gargantuan proportions. Having recently discovered the joys of shopping on ebay.co.uk (perhaps a future op), I've been buying lots of DVDs which will only play on a multi-region DVD player. Which I have.
