have purchased telly 6 weeks ago was told would be delivered in 4 days...when I went back to speak to the it was ont in the stock...was told after 23rd of january will be back in stock and they would deliver shoirtly after this date...it is 31st no phone call no nothing...giving very bad name to the company I guess...+ when I cxalled delivery line, the indian just merely told me I don`t know when you get your telly, you have to go ask to the shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased a LCD 37" plasma screen + product support Feb 08. On Dec 5 T.V. broke down, rang product support 3 times and arranging dates, none of which they kept, we took the T.V. back to store, they refused to take it back. Salesperson spoke to their Technicians on e phone, they promised to call out after I had returned home and rung them again.
Aguy turned up 23rd Dec , said he would see about a part and call us back.
Heard nothing . phoned on Jan 6 09 was told they couldn't repair, Phoned complaints, they would not let me return set, I got Samsung Tel no from them, they collected it a fortnight ago, still haven't got it back. Currys have kept the £169 charged for product support . Thieves.

bought a washing machine from currys.took it home with me,connected off we go.no probs til 11months later it broke.took 2 days using automated service and customer services to get appt to repair.no one turned up.cut a long story short,currys offer replacement if not fixed within 28 days of report.DONT believe it.they spin any yarn to get you to go away.ive spent 5 saturdays at launderette now,still being told beko will ring tomorrow.do they hell.not all currys fault,but they ought to honour their garantees if they want repeat custom. wont get anymore from me,thats for sure

We bought a washing machine online from Currys and paid for them to fit the new one and remove the old one. When they delivered the new washing machine, they said they could not install it as the old one was hard wired. When I said I could remove the old electrical connection (a 1 minute job), they said they could still not install the new one, as they "are not electricians". Not a problem, as it is an easy job. The major issue, though, was they ... ...as "there was not room in the van" (in spite of them having just delivered a new washing machine of the same size from the same van). When my wife phoned to arrange for the old machine to be removed (after many attempts to speak to someone, and being passed from one department to another), Currys said the delivery people did not remove the old machine as it was not ready to be removed, and there was now nothing they can do. I would never ever shop with Currys again. Especially if you are having something delivered. Be aware that after you have waited all day for your delivery to arrive the driver may not want believe you when you show him the designated unloading area of the street. He was so adamant that I was not telling the truth about the area and that I was not worth taking the risk of him being clamped that he even started to give me some patronising 'life' advice; ... ...After asking him again politely to speak to my partner who had spoken to the council he then responded by aggressively telling me that it was 'people like me who don't care about anyone else as long as I get what I want'. I am still left wondering what he meant by the 'people like me' statement; was it my colour, my sex or the fact I was just a regular paying customer?
