The online experience was very good and I was completely satisifed by the service upto that point. I did however find the goods I was buying elsewhere (Dixons) cheaper.
On discovering this and realising Currys offer a price promise I promptly rang them, I was however told that they do not price match Dixons as it is part of their group?
I was not satisfied by this and asked them to cancel my order - to which I was passed around numerous people and ended up at the complaints department.
The complaints department informed me there was nothing that could be done, they couldn't cancel the order, they couldn't help me and if I wanted to write in and complain nothing would come about from it - as they would deal with it.
I was shocked and appalled by this, I was interupted, shouted at and the operative was the rudest "customer service" staff i have ever spoken to.
In the end I decided to leave it and just recieve my goods and pay the extra difference.
The goods I ordered took 2 weeks to arrive and whilst the delivery team where polite and installed the products quickly, they made a bit of a mess in the process.
All in all the service I recieved was not very good at all and as such I will personally never use nor reccomend Currys after this experience as their after sales support is disgusting. Shame on them for training your staff to behave like that.
