My children and I are always out and about doing one thing or another, and children being children always get in a mess. So I wanted something that was easy to use and most importantly keeps your hands clean.
That’s when I came across the product called Cuticura, now I have never heard of this before but apparently it has been around since 1865, but only mainly in America.
~ What is the product I am reviewing ~
It is an Anti-BacterialHand Hygiene Gel. No need for any water or towels and keeps your hands clean and kills 99.9% of all germs.
It is in a small 100ml bottle which is an ideal size to fit into any handbag.
Simply lift the flip top lid and squeeze a small amount of gel on to the palm of your hand, as soon as you do this the outer edges of the gel turn to a liquid. Rub into both palms and the rub over the rest of your hands and fingers. By now it has all turned into a liquid, which is why you only need a small amount. When you are rubbing it in it starts to feel a bit sticky, at this stage if all your hands are covered, leave it to dry, this only take a few seconds and the sticky feeling has gone. Your hands are now completely dry and feel very smooth and completely clean. Job done.
I was very much impressed by how quickly it dried, it says on the bottle 15 seconds and it is about 15 seconds.
Once it is dry it doesn’t feel the slightest bit tacky, you wouldn’t now you had put anything on your hands.
I have the citrus one and it smells lovely really fruity and fresh. It also comes in original.
I like taking my girls bowling, and afterwards they always want something to eat. But I know that after a game when their fingers have been inside the bowling balls, I dread to think what germs are lurking inside, and been transferred to their hands, so it straight to the loos to wash them, that’s if there is any soap there because half the time there isn’t any, and what are the chances the dryers are working, if there not you walk out with dripping wet hands, But with this bottle it is just so easy. You just put a small amount on their hands rub in and wait a few seconds and it’s dry, then they are all ready for something to eat.
It is ideal for any situation, when my partner goes fishing, there is never anything to wash your hands with, and they have been in the water and touching fish, all sorts. Or camping, I have been loads of times to different events and sometimes you dare not even enter the toilet facilities so again this is great.
I keep a bottle in my handbag all the time now, and its amazing how many times I have got to it out to use, so simply yet so effective.
~ Packaging ~
Mine comes in a small 100ml clear bottle, so you can see the yellow coloured citrus gel in it. It does also come in a larger 250ml but this is only for the original one. It has a blue easy to use flip top. It has a white and blue label on the front which clearly says Cuticura Anti Bacterial Citrus Hand Hygiene Gel. A label on the back that has all the instructions and ingredients on it.
It does contain alcohol.
~ Cost ~
You can gat it from Tescos for 78p for a 100ml bottle but most supermarkets do sell it.
~ Overall Verdict ~
A big thumbs up, I would rate it 10 out of 10 for effectiveness and ease. No matter what situation you may be in, from out doors to working on a computer, it is so quick and easy and you know your hands will be as clean as if you had washed them with normal soap and water.
Thank you very much for reading.

We use this a lot in our shop, as we handle money etc but also sweets etc .... Not sure if it is this brand tho, I'm ashamed to say I think ours may have been stolen from the hospital! (not by me I hasten to add)
