I bought a 100ml bottle of this to keep in my car, as I wanted to be able to make sure my hands were clean and germ-free when eating my lunch between peripatetic appointments in a hectic working day.
It is a small and convenient bottle and is easy and quick to use and, as the bottle says, it isn't sticky and takes only seconds to dry. As you only need a small amount, it should last ages, so is pretty economical and your hands certainly feel fresh and clean when you have used it.
According to the label, it kills over 99.9% of germs within 15 seconds and I thought I'd found the ideal solution for cleanliness and hygiene with my lunch - especially as the only loo I have access to at lunchtime is a none too savoury public convenience, where soap has never been a feature!
Sadly, for me, there is one huge drawback, which none of the previous reviewers appear to have encountered. By the following day, the backs of my knuckles were red raw and very very sore. I must admit that I do have sensitive skin and always wear gloves for washing up etc, but I was not expecting such an extreme reaction. I did give the gel one more try a couple of weeks later, in case the reaction had been caused my something else, but unfortunately, it had the same effect and I had to stop using it. I hope you have better luck - but I'm still looking for a solution. I have rated it for my own needs, but would add as a proviso, that I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use it, so it may be perfect for others.
