Bought this DVD player on Boxing Day 2001 after seeing that it was £99.99 at Richer Sounds. I mean, how could I resist its silver looks and its multi-regionality? It isn't the sleekest or attractive of DVD players, but whaddaya want? Looks, functionality, value for money? I think its scores highly on all the above bar the looks, which are a little bulky, but I don't care because I wanted to enter the DVD game at a price I could afford. Thank you Cyberhome! I could have a little moan about the layout of the buttons on the remote control, as I don't think that much thought was given. Hoever, that would be a little churlish. After all, the buttons on the remote are luminous! Yes, how about that?! Go buy one and start on the path of DVD ownership...
