Advantages: Helps prevents spina bifida Disadvantages: Constipation, Bad Wind
and during Pregnany.
With Folic Acid Tablets you take one a day with or after you have had a mainmeal. Plenty of water to wash it down. Taking Pregnacare can help decrease the risk for neural tube defects (NTDs), which are birth defects of the baby's brain (anencephaly) or spine (spina bifida). By getting the RDA of 0.4mg a day can prevent upto 75% of many serious types of birth defects. This is not strongly talked about. Some mothers dont even know what folic acid does or the prevention of the tablets. If they did they would take them throughtout. (Having confess I took them till I was 16 weeks).
Ideal if breast-feeding
Nutrition is very important during breast-feeding, to assist the production of nutritious breast milk and to help replace a mother's reserves of vitamins and minerals, which may be reduced. Zinc is important for milk ...

Advantages: Work well and really relieve pain Disadvantages: not suitable for everyone
I have suffered from extremely bad periods for around six years now. Some months have been a lot worse than others and one time I nearly fainted because of them. My flow is heavy with quite big clots, I'd say they are usually around the size of a grape. I can't even begin to describe the pain!
Now sadly I let myself suffer with these for around five years without getting any help for them whatsoever. It was normal for me to take 15 painkillers a day to try and take the pain away but even then it didn't really do a lot (except make me feel groggy). So that's when I decided it was time to get something done and stop my suffering. So forgetting my pride and my fear, I booked an appointment with the doctor and ended up with some of these 'mefenamic acid 500mg' tablets as well as a contraceptive pill.

Advantages: Cleared up my skin quickly, last ages!!! Disadvantages: Expensive
Dermalogica anti-bac skin wash is best used on blemish prone skin. It is a foaming, antibacterial facewash which deeply cleanses the skin of excess oil and impurities with drying it. It contains Triclosan which helps remove bacteria and SalicylicAcid disolves dead skin cells- that last part makes it sound very harsh, but it is really not! It also conatins balm mint, coneflower and camphor to help smooth and purify the skin. It does not have any artificial fragrances or colour.
Dermalogica say that you should work the gel into a lather and apply to your dampened face and throat. You should then rinse with warm water and repeat for 'professional results'. They then say for best results this should be followed by the multi active toner and moisturiser (please see my other reviews).
