Ace ! well worth the money !
Advantages: mindbending ! input and output and headphone - can be used with other instruments Disadvantages: (not a disadvantage but) need an input - Ipod/mp3/computer + cable.
I am new to the world of synths and the like but i am experienced enough to recognize something as good as this. In simple words when i first ripped the amazon packaging off of this lil sucker i was glued to it for (no exaggeration) 5 consecutive hours. unbelievable. i was soo entertained just playing my ipod through the input and just playing with the 100 unique effects. mind-blowing ! and works surprisingly well for every genre of music i have ... ...beats of Sabrepulse all the way to the funk of Chromeo. and the output is a blessing. I've already hooked it up to my Mircosampler to remix tracks even more. i have no wall plug for it and havent bothered to buy one yet and with me useing it for hours on end ive already grained the batteries it came with within 4 days. ...

Great
Advantages: Sampling, Auto-BPM, Touch interface, Updates, USB Midi, Hold button Disadvantages: Only one input at a time, pad gets marked easily
The kp3 is an amazing piece of kit, for producers, DJs, live bands and more. Its touch interface is extremely beneficial as it allows you to put more feeling into the production. But the downside to this is the pad is easily marked and needs regular cleaning with a dry cloth, but this is hardly a price to pay!
The sampling is very easy as the sampling speed is altered according to the bpm which makes everything much easier.
One downside is that ... ...one sample bank at a time.
Another upside is the updates you can download from korg.com, they offer new features and bug fixing. One thing I would recommend is: DON'T BUY THIS FOR USE ON ITS OWN! its not very good at creating music on its own, it has built in presets but they arent as good as the kp2's.
I do not regret paying out for this little box of wonders one bit. It plays a big part in my setup both live and in the studio. ...

Loads of dynamic control in a tiny space!
Advantages: 4 channels of compression in 1 rack space, low noise, good metering. Disadvantages: Lacks custom attack/release time controls
...free too, which is means Behringer have used good components inside. A lot of their rack gear is highly rated, especially their compressors, and used by professional musicians all over the world.
A good unit for the price, good features and only takes up one rack space. Recommended purchase for a gigging band!
Mine was purchased from Dolphin Music, for £80.99, via eBay (brand new). ...

Review of Behringer MDX 4600

Usability Durability Best suited for Value for money |
Does what it says on the tin....with added hiss
Advantages: No nonsense graphic, solid dial & sliders Disadvantages: Adds hiss, useless for quite sound reinforcement
I own one of these - they feel solid to use and are 'just' a graphic EQ instead of having lots of extra bells and whistles, which is why I chose it. However, the biggest let down with the 231 is that it puts a LOT of noise in to the signal path. Other users of the 231 have made the same comment. I have swapped out leads etc but the fact is this unit is very noisey/hissy. Would be fine for a loud band, but useless for speech or anything quiet. LED ...
