Advantages: lots of pictures Disadvantages: can be pricey for the newer editions
I am going to review one of the older books as JudithMiller brings one of these books out every year. She also brings out an antiques price guide annually aswell the paticualar one I am using as reference is the 1997 to 1998 version.
Judithmiller and her team go round different auction houses and photograph items that are worth a fair bit. A lot of these things are modern day collectables, starting from the later end of the 19th century up to present day. each page has photos of the items which include a price, ie valuers estimate, say as £25-£40
If you go to car boots or flea markets it would be a good idea to look through one of these books, and get an idea of whats worth something amd what's it not.

This is the official Alice Cooper collectorsguide covering the years 1965 to 1998. Nearly every page is illustrated by photographs some of which were previously unpublished. This guide gives important background information to the rock star who has become a household name to several generations.
Starting in 1964 in a band called the Earwigs and the first Alice recording Hitch Hike to the 1998 Box Set, Life & Crimes Of Alice cooper this book carefully chronicles each stage of Alices career. It doesn't however chronicle The Brutal Planet album of 2000 so already this book is out of date. However a rerelease is rumoured to be on the horizon.

The Bone Collector
THe Bone Collector is a 1999 drama-mystery-thriller film starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. It doesn't actually seem like it was made 10 years ago now as I think it is still quite an up to date and current movie.
Ange plays a similar sort of role for her, pretty girl but tough with a bit of an edge. She gets to show her sexy and adventurous side but also a vunerable side too. She is a police officer, like her deceased father who is not really mentioned but you can see that he is definitely her idol. She is just a routine beat cop called Amelia Donaghy but a chance finding of a crime scene on a routine day changes the direction of her career and life forever. This is when she meets and teams up with Lincoln Rhyme.
