This rotating disco ball is fun little novelty that can provide your room with a colourful show of light and colour. The design itself is relatively simple and sturdy and it incorporates an easy to find power switch with the base of the unit, and there is an attached mains adapter cord of sufficient length that allows the disco ball to be easily placed upon tables, TV's, bookshelves and other moderately tall items of furniture.
On activation the bulb will rotate itself in an anti-clockwise direction around a small but somewhat bright lightbulb within the centre of the ball. The light shines out through a number of round holes covered in a thin piece of coloured plastic generating the disco effect. There are only four colours but this nonetheless creates a striking effect, particularly in a darkened room. The disco ball unit itself is available in a range of different colours including black, silver and white.Just two small faults to mention, one is that when the ball is active it does a make noticeable whirring noise and when it's left active for a number of hours the ball can unscrew and become loose so some rescrewing of the ball is required.
So all in all this is a fun inexpensive and well made decorative feature to have in a room.
