...along the line. The netgear also has a diagnostics page which you can access on your pc and from that I saw that the speed was very slow and there was a lot of noise on the line. So this was evidence for vodafone to give BT engineers who came and found my phone line was broken at the telegraph pole. One new phone line later and everything is well. If you look at my other reviews, ive reviewed the netgear router. I uprgaded to the netgear some simple reasons i wanted to share my internet, and have faster internet. The modern was supplied to me by AOL, and from start to finish i found it too be slow, un-reliable and basically not a very good piece of equipment. It comes in a small box along with the driver dc,filter for the phone line,instruction manual,the phone cable and the unit itself. This modem was sent to me by Wanadoo when I first changed to broadband four years ago. It connects via usb which is what I wanted because my pc at the time did not have an ethernet socket.
