My daughter had been asking me for a pink DS for months since she had seen her friend playing on one, so I said to myself that I must get her one for Christmas. I bought mine early enough, I didn't realise they were going to be so hard to get hold of over the xmas period.
Well it was what she wanted so I told all the family what she wanted.
What you receive when you buy the DS is:
1 Spare Stylo, a charger,obviously the DS lite itself. You also get a manual.
The DS has two screens which is quite cool really and DS actually stands for Dual Screen.
The DS's arelightweight and measures about 10cm by about 5cm and is about 2cm in depth.

an adults point of view i would have to say its just as much fun if not more we can take advantage of the chat rooms and linking up 2 DS's and playing each other! and that has to be one of its best bits, great for games like mario kart! but be warned with certain games each person has to have the game in! unlike some where just one person can own the game. it normally tells you this on the inside of the case. And then there is the wireless internet play! again a great thing to have but to be honest ive yet to give it a go so i cannot state on weather thats good or bad. but going on everything else i would guess its just as good.
I have to say my partner used to have a psp and as good as they are they where missing one big thing for me and thats the fun aspect and nintendo as always have got it. If i had to pick between the DS and the PSP ...
