This review is about the Pacific DVD 1002 MK2 Player specifically.
This DVD player is a definite recommendation to anyone looking for a DVD player. Ok, so it might not be highly sophisticated with DVD recording or surround sound or anything, but it is simple, easy to use and is cheap as chips.
I got this DVD player as another birthday present from my boyfriend (yes he is very good to me and I never tend to buy electrical stuff for myself ? you should see my flat ? full of electrical presents and hand-me-downs when my friends upgrade).
He purchased this from Asda, it?s local and cheap! It only cost £34.95, which wasn?t the cheapest one there but looked the best. Also, it had to have my TV sitting on top of it, so it needed to be sturdy enough to hold that.
The player itself:
The front of the DVD player contains ...
Advantages: Compact. Easy to set up. Cheap. Disadvantages: None.
Another electical item bites the dust - our old Hikona DVD player that was never very good from the day we bought it but somehow scaped through a years use to finally go caput a few days out of guarantee.
So I bought the Cyber Home from Amazon and it only cost me £19.99 with free delivery which was super fast. I ordered it on Sunday night and it was here 9 am Tuesday morning.
The DVD player was so easy to set up, it only took a couple of minutes to get a disc playing and adjust the player for widescreen.
It plays DVDs DVD-R DVD-RW CDs CD-R CD-RW Picture CDs and has a hack apparently for NTSC DVDS but I haven't got any North American DVDs as yet so I'm leaving that one alone for now.
It does what it says on the tin and thats the way I like electricals. Cheap, easy to use and works.
The picture playback is much better than ...
Advantages: Cheap, excellent customer service Disadvantages: None
I was recently introduced to scan by a friend at work, and am very impressed by the sheer range of products and the customer service that I have received to boot.
I have only ever ordered things from Scan's TODAY ONLY page. Which is a page which has about a dozen or so products at absolutly silly prices. The products that are on offer are always varied and at ridiculously low prices. i recently ordered over 3500 CDRs from them. They called me back to confirm that I did actually want 3500 of them and to twell me that they would waive the carridge fee on the delivery of them as it was such a large order. That in my opinion is excellent customer service.
I have since ordered several other products from them all from the 'today only' page and the product has always been delivered promptly. Not once has the product i want been out ...
