An excellent and value for money DVD player

Advantages: cheap, good picture quality, plays a variety of formats
Disadvantages: none yet, may not have enough features for some

The answer to watching files via USB on a TV - The Toshiba SD-290

Advantages: USB port
Disadvantages: Remote is a little small

...a search i found the Toshiba SD-290. It is a neat compact unit but still stylish at the same time. Setup could not be easier just plug in the power and scart and done. The remote is a bit small and therefore there is a habit of hitting the wrong button by accident. Not reliable

Advantages: Plethora of features and readable formats
Disadvantages: VCR always broke.

Now before you read this I would like it to be known I sold these refurbished and this review is based on that. I cannot pinpoint my disdain for these and I do not know if the brand new ones had the same problems but I hated these and wanted them all to be burnt in a fire. However all 200 units we had had a faulty vcr, it would not track no matter what, it ate tapes and it really did not ever want to release tapes without ...
