The Sony DVP-PR30 Is My Little Black Box

Advantages: Neat, Stylish and Performs Well.

Not reliable

Advantages: Plethora of features and readable formats
Disadvantages: VCR always broke.

Now before you read this I would like it to be known I sold these refurbished and this review is based on that. I cannot pinpoint my disdain for these and I do not know if the brand new ones had the same problems but I hated these and wanted them all to be burnt in a fire. WOW!! The best upscaling DVD player bar non!!!!

Advantages: Good quality dvd's like HD
Disadvantages: None

...have recently purchased the new Toshiba 42ZV555DB LCD TV which upscales SD signals to near HD quality. I was a bit sceptical but the difference is unbelievable. The pictures are so sharp. High quality bitrate signals like the BBC news look like the presenter is 3D!! That's on normal Freeview aswell!!
