Before I bought this DVD player Id never really owned a DVD player before. I had however had and still do have a ps2 on which I used to play my DVDs. Great value for money!

Advantages: price, ease of use, nice look
Disadvantages: remote broke but it was expected as it was used a lot

We got our bush dvd player from Argos which was the cheapest one available. At first I was a bit suspicious expecting something to go wrong but sofar I must say it has been very reliable. We have this player for 3 years and I must say all has worked just fine and has never let me down. Some more expensive players will not play all dvd's but this one has played well. Never gets bushed!

Advantages: Cheap, unbreakable, looks great!

...a very high opinion of Bush products but put it through its paces anyway and thought someone had muddled the nameup... was this not a Sony? The picture quality is excellent with a function to swop widescreen movies to normal screen size. As well as DVD's the 2023 will happily accomodate CD's, MP3's, CD-R's and CD-RW's with the same simplicity as it takes to read the DVD...just put in the disc and it automatically selects the correct format to play! ...

Bush DVD player

Advantages: good quality picture, only cost me £20
Disadvantages: small screen, only fills middle part of screen

I bought this DVD player around 1 year ago now and it is still in perfect working condition. It produces a good quality picture and has many buttons on the control to fiddle around with but we will come to those later. Well firstly lets start on the screen/picture size as i believe this to be the only downfall of the dvd player. What can i say, it leaves a good 2 inches off at the top of the screen and a good 2 inches below so, lets just say it ...
