If I had one visual change to suggest - it would be to do away with the mock aluminium feet which show just under the front of the unit - very 1990's, and serving no function! Review of Marantz DV 3100

Excellent DVD player if you can get hold of one

Advantages: Picture and sound quality
Disadvantages: Disk tray

I was looking for a dedicated dvd player with no frills and that is exaclty what i got with the DV7010. These are hard to get hold of now as they have been discontinued, but I got mine from a specialist HIFI shop where they had the last one on special offer. Denons mid-ranged upscaled goodness

Advantages: excellent upscaling, wealth of play back features
Disadvantages: feels cheap

An excellent piece of kit

Advantages: Fantastic quality picture, easy setup, great looking player, upscaling, value for money
