Matsui DVD Player 320- fantastic Xmas present!
Review of Matsui DVD 320 by

Advantages: Fantastic design, sound and picture quality!
Disadvantages: None as far as I can tell!
My brother bought us this for our Christmas present and we were really impressed. For a start the design is very sleek, it is slim and mostly silver but with a black digital display with yellowy-green writing. The digital display makes it look very smart and shows you how long the dvd has been playing for.
The dvd player was so easy to set up- it was literally a case of plugging it into the wall and connceting the scart cable between the tv and ... ...done it in 2 seconds flat!
The dvd player comes with a remote control (batteries not included) but sadly the design of this is not as sleek as the dvd player itself, its a bit grey and clunky. But it is again very easy to use. We have used the dvd player for watching several dvds and the picture and sound quality is excellent.I can't say how good value it is as it was a present but it is definitely one which i would recommend. instructions were ...

Matsui DVD225 - Review
Review of Matsui DVD225 by
AshR3006
Advantages: Small, easy to use
Disadvantages: Whirring noise
I got one of these as a birthday present a couple of years ago, its has a good range of features including mp3 playback and dolby digital sound. Its only very small compared to other dvd players which is really good because it means it can be kept just about anywhere, mine currently sits on top of my small bedroom tv, completely out of the way. The dvd player is easy to use, although the remote has quite a few buttons that I am unsure what they do. ...

Do not be fooled by the cheap price
Review of Matsui 228 by

Advantages: Multiregion, cheap dvd player, easy to use and set up
Disadvantages: when the region code is changed it has poor region 2 playback
i brought two of these dvd players for my girlfriend and i, they were really cheap and had the added bonus of having their region code changed to 0. i thought fantastic a cheap, region free dvd player, just what i wanted, until i changed the region code. Once the code had been changed to 0, i played my first american dvd on it, it worked like a reat, was crsp and easy to navigate on, but when i went to play an english dvd, it skip and stop through ...

The Matsui DVD225
Review of Matsui DVD225 by
Tuffin_87
Advantages: Slim Design which means it can easily fit anywhere
Disadvantages: none
I saw this DVD player in an electronics shop and instantly knew it was the one i wanted to buy. I have a relitively small bedroom which means that finding places for things is slightly restrictive. This DVD player was perfect from me because of it's small size. It is a third narrower than most DVd players i have seen. For me this ultimately meant that i could free up some extra place on the shelf to store my DVd's which was brilliant. The DVD player ... ...what all the buttons on the remote mean. I have had this DVd player for nearly 18 months now though and have never experienced any problems with it. It plays all of my DVD's perfectly without making them skip or jump as some of my friend's DVD players do. The DVd player also has some ohter functions which mean that it does not only play DVD's but also, Cd's, MP3 discs and Photo discs. I found the MP3 function particularly useful because my Cd player ...

Plays the lot
Review of Matsui DVD 227 by

Advantages: soo cheap!!
Disadvantages: an unknown name
This is a lovely neat little DVD player that was easy to set up (well it is just a scart lead!) and I have found it very reliable although the time it takes to read a disc is a second or two longer than most players. I have tried divX, + and - formats and photo cds and this dvd player has coped with them all. It is in the living room and is on at least four times a week and in the three months I have had it it has never failed. Though it does come ...
