I got a Mico Diamante 3000 DVD player about 3 months ago and since I got it for £60 I have never though once about taking it back and I absolutlely love it. The DVD player has no problems playing any DVD disc and the machine comes with a easy to use remote control with all the standard controls and extra ones. The player supports many formats inclusing DVD-R/CD-RW and JPEG cd's and this is great. The thing that I must love about the DVD player ...
...and fast forward, which as I know of, is the only DVD player that has this speed. The DVD player has lots of features including an easy selector buttons and enter buttons, an A-B repeat system where you can replay a certain part of a film over and over again, there are easy menu buttons and a 4x zoom and 4x slow motion. The Mico R311 is just the best DVD recorder I know of. It is very easy to use with on screen display and the children find it no problem. The pictured index feature is excellent and the system has five different quality recording modes. The highest quality recording mode is very similar in picture quality to the lowest quality setting. ..., with the announcement that Toshiba is to withdraw from the hd race for the next format it leaves hd-dvd players in a very poor position in the market place , however do not let this put you off , there is already a great library off hd-dvd discs out there and as there is no region coding on the discs ,this means you can order via eBay direct from use for even more titles , of course the likelihood of new movies coming out on this format are very ...
...and the latest firmware via Toshiba brings it right unto date with picture and sound , if your savvy you can get one of these and a collection of discs for a fraction of the price of a blu-ray player and start enjoying high definition discs , the money you save get be put to one side to but a blu-ray / ps3 when they inevitably come down in price later this year ... ...One HDMI cable is so nice as well. DVDs look great on my 42"" 1080i LCD tv. But setup menu is REALLY slow to respond. ...and it has that solid samsung feeling.the remote is stylish and solid however the resposning is not the fastest I've seen.back to player's function;the DVD playback is smooth,it does produce rich colours and sharp picture.the key features of this player that makes it a winner in this price range are Progressive Scan,Divx Playback and HDMI output with 1080p HD Upscalling.you won't find many (if any!)
