The sound output is also fairly impressive and although it does depend on the audio capabilities of the TV you're using, having a DVD player that also has high calibre audio helps too. First of all I ought to point out that I got this player for less than the current cheapest price listed, it was £99 from Asda a couple of months ago. First of all the technical jargon, it will play DVD, VCD, SVCD, AUDIO CD and MP3 CD. There are several means of getting the picture & sound to your TV & HI FI. The best way to connect it to the TV is with a SCART lead (supplied). Audio can be sent to your hi fi via stereo phono leads (not supplied) ...
