This is what to expect from such a well know company, with such a good reputation. I bought this a few months ago to use as a DVD player in my room, so that i didnt have to keep transporting the one from downstairs all the time. It is easy to transport, all you need to do is unplug it from the TV and pop it in your pocket. Just joking it's not that small. Advantages: Excellent quality, looks good/ modern, can play most formats
Disadvantages: Cannot play PAL in colour eg some extreme sports DVD's or old movies

...also connect it to a Sony stack which would be like your hi-fi or something if you don't have a Sony hi-fi. It is a scart unit also which is good because you do not have to tune it in or anything. (Make sure your TV or other appliance has an AV scart socket, most modern equipment does so you shouldn't have to worry) There is no set up needed, just plug in and your away, the remote even comes with Sony batteries... you cant ask for much more than ...
