This is what to expect from such a well know company, with such a good reputation. I bought this a few months ago to use as a DVD player in my room, so that i didnt have to keep transporting the one from downstairs all the time. ...wondeful. I have taken it round a few friends houses that don't have a DVD player so that we could watch some movies. It is easy to transport, all you need to do is unplug it from the TV and pop it in your pocket. Just joking it's not that small. Having bought the Sony NS300 as a first DVD player, I am generally very pleased with the product. As you would expect, being a Sony it is of a very high quality and is of an attractive sleek design. I have found that some features available on other players, such as a zoom feature are not present, and also it only plays local DVDs, and not CD-Rs. I got one of these as a birthday present a couple of years ago, its has a good range of features including mp3 playback and dolby digital sound. Its only very small compared to other dvd players which is really good because it means it can be kept just about anywhere, mine currently sits on top of my small bedroom tv, completely out of the way.
