I bought this product a few days ago and I thinks its brilliant. In terms of the looks its stylish, and sleek. Not only you can you watch DVD in HD but also you can pause live TV, record it on its 160 gig hard drive and store photos and videos. For the price I feel it was a little too much. I paid £140 at Sainsbury. But looing at sources you can get it for much less (£80 - £100) I would reconmend this product to anyone who likes whatching TV and ...

I bought this product from Laskys in November 2007 for around £135. I was very impressed with the spec - ability to play divx files, as well as freeview and a usb socket. The manual is thorough and easy to follow, although set-ups which involve several other players or set-top boxes may be a bit complicated. ...but then froze up and none of the buttons worked. I checked the manual and this was covered by the troubleshooting - simply unplug and allow the recorder to reset. I did this and it worked fine. RECOMMENDED. VERY well speced. Performance of the unit is just excellent. I received this in replacement for my faulty dvdr3450H which was - frankly - rubbish and kept breaking down all the time, so avoid them like the plauge!
