OK, I have only had this unit for one week now and to really truthfull, I wish I had not bought it. Lets start with the outside of the unit. Just bought a Panasonic DMREZ27 which cost less (with 5 year warranty), works better and appears to be made by Panasonic. This release from Daewoo that contains everything you need for modern viewing in one smart box! The DRVT43 comes with a DVD player which is also a DVD-RW, a VCr, and comes with built in freeview... A lot of bit considering you can find them online for £150! And even bettter considering a Sony DVD-RW will set you back more than this whole package! Advantages: User friendly, easy to setup, excellent all-round choice
Disadvantages: No DVD playback when recording to HDD

The setup is relatively easy and mostly intuitive. What's not so straight forward is, that you have to choose each country you want to receive before scanning the DVB-T channels, so the manual could be better.
