I bought this DVD recorder after returning my old one to the shop because it didn't work properly. I thought, well hoped that this one would be better. I was wrong. Every time i put a disc in it the DVD recorder would freeze and not do anything for 10 minutes. When I tried to play CDs on it a message came up saying that there was an error and guess what... it would freeze again. When it came to recording on it, the shop i bought it from were advertising ...
...but it doesn't, it just records on dvd-r. So this was no good when it came to trying to record a film that night, as I only had dvd+r. So I had to record it old school on a VCR. I recently purchased the Samsung DVD-R128. I had simple requirements, it needed to be cheap (this was a secondary recorder), it needed to be of a certain size (due to the space it was to fill in a piece of furniture), and most importantly it needed to record in the - format.
