This portable professional labelmaking tool creates labels that help people organize in all kinds of environments. The LabelPOINT 100 features an 11 character display, prints up to two lines and offers two tape sizes - 3/8" and 1/2" D1 tape. The LP100 is an excellent choice for file folders, binders, binder tabs, diskettes, hanging folders and much more.
Advantages: So easy to use Disadvantages: A bit heavy
...I got this gadget through the stationary suppliers we use here at work and cannot tell you how useful this is, all assistants have it and it really does make your life so easy!!
Dymo is a company that produces label makers of all sorts of sizes and for all different usages going from office to warehouse therefore from simple ones to more durable results for example. In my case I got this model which is not one of the most complicated ones but definitely does the job and does it well and quick!
THE LABELWRITER
**********
The size of this item is roughly 16 cm x 9 cm x 4.5 cm. It has a bit of a "mushroom" shape which means that you can easily grip it, the display is on the larger area therefore you have a better view of what you are writing. Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour
...At the beginning of this year, we ordered a Dymo Labelwriter 320 from PC World Business.

It got to the point where not only was I getting peeved at being at the printer every five minutes for one measly label, but our printer was unreliable and so messed up a lot of the labels, resulting in a lot of waste. That's when the Dymo labelwriter was mentioned by a colleague who had used one in a previous job.
I originally went onto www.dymo.co.uk to check out the Labelwriter...

Advantages: Prints quickly, easy to use, no ink, time saver Disadvantages: A little expensive to run for some
...The Dymo Labelwriter has been available in various models for a long time now. Many grumble at the limited use, plus the fact that you can use only Dymolabels with the device. Well, whilst this is true, you should really look at this device as a great time saving device, rather than money saving.
I picked up a Labelwriter 400 just recently. I had the next model up before, but sold it on for a very good price. Within a week of selling it, I wished I hadn't. Address and shipping labels vary in price and size, but the smaller address labels work out about 3p each. There is no ink or mess to worry about, as this is a thermal printer, so the printer makes the label react and reveal a fairly crisp 300dpi print. It is nice and fast and quiet in use.
So, imagine the scenario, perhaps like me you sell on ebay. I might only sell one thing a day...
