Introduction I have been using the Dymo Label writer 450 for use in my home business since July 2010 this year. I am absolutely pleased with this purchase as it does not require me to purchase any ink or toner cartridges as the labels are printed by using heat from a thermal print head on specially treated labels. Christmas 2010 I asked my dad for a label printer as I run a small handmade clothing business and needed something for printing address labels. I was shocked when he bought me this model as it was a high end label printer. INFORMATION: --------------------------------- This printer doesn't use ink. It uses thermal paper stickers and the printer burns the image into it creating your label. The Dymo 450 is very easy to set up, integrates with any address book you may have such as Outlook (on Windows) or Address Book (on Mac) and very fast ... upto 51 labels per minute. If you use other products from Dymo such as CardScan for example, you can print address labels directly from Cardscan to your Dymo printer. Labels are very easy to load too.
