I was trying to modernise and get ready for ADSL2 an this modem should have worked fine on normal ADSL too and it gets dangerously hot in my view and after 2 emails with D-Link they did not reply any more to me avoiding the problem.

I hope for D-Link sake, it was only mine faulty and it is not a normal way or working for this modem.

Purchased it from Amazon and tried on our line. Main problem was: disconnecting! ADSL is perfectly fine and I am also an IT Technician.

It does not mean other modems are faulty, mine was and I asked D-Link to send one out (just the modem) and pick up the faulty one. They never replied.
