I got my first D-Link DSL-2680 when I joined TalkTalk last March and used it every day up until February this year when I ended my broadband with TalkTalk, and it worked fantastically without fault.

Just today, I re-joined TalkTalk and am using another DSL-2680 they sent me for my new connection. Needless to say, this one is just as good as the last, as it is the same model.

To install the router you simply have to run an installation disk on your computer and after 15 minutes it is installed. Then, you can start browsing and enjoy fast download speeds, reliable connectivity with both Ethernet connection and WiFi, and of course, it looks nice and isn't too big.

At the back there is the ASDL port, two Ethernet ports, the AC adapter port, and a push button ON/OFF switch, which I'll never use as I keep it switched on 24/7 as if I'm not on the PC using the internet I'm on my WiFi connected mobile phone.

As for the front of the router is has 7 LED lights; the Power light, the two Ethernet lights, the WLAN light, the DSL light, the Internet light and the WPS light, all of which are easy to see through the clear front panel.

The WiFi covers a large area, for example, I once experimented by walking all around the house with my laptop and at no time did it loose the signal. Very good indeed.

I am using my DSL-2680 with two of the new super small D-Link splitters, and to be honest I don't know if they are any better than the previous splitters I was using, the large D-Link ones, but perhaps they are!

That's about all I can think to say about this router.

I'll round it off by saying that I would most definitely recommend this to a friend!
