Advantages Advantages Simple set up, price, no drivers to mess with, no gimmicks

Disadvantages Disadvantages very minor compatibility issues

I needed an ethernet modem to allow "always on" connection for my Apple Airport network. Up till now I've been using a Speedtouch USB and internet sharing to the wireless network via the attached computer. The disadvantage here was that this computer needed to be left on as long as an internet connection was required. I chose the 320T because it was simple, reasonably future proof (ADSL2/+) and I didn't need a wireless router. Advantages Advantages It's small and it's never crashed.

Disadvantages Disadvantages No disadvantages so far. A quick call to D-link and it was up in minutes.

The 320T (and the 655) have never crashed, and handle all the connections easily). I've never had to reset either of these since they were installed, and recommend this double act to anyone who needs speed and range. In case anyone was wondering, I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Fairly fast

Disadvantages Disadvantages Crashes every 30 minutes, doesn't hold settings unless saved AND restarted

I bought mine Amazon several months ago to run with my wireless router and the setupd was reasonalby self-explanatory. However, only a few weeks into having it, it crashed and stayed like that for several weeks. I used the original Speedtouch 330 modem that had come with my broadband as a temporary replacement although this was incompatible with my router so I coudl only use it on one computer. Anyway, a computer professional came and fixed the modems problems but a couple of months later, problems cropped up again for no apparent reason. The modem now crashes every 30 minutes and so I have ... more
