I would recommend this router to anyone, whether it is for home or small business use. This is why…
I bought the router a good 12 months ago, as of yet, I have not been able to report any downtime what-so-ever that is due to the router. It's so easy to use - straight out of the box, plug in, enter your ISP connection settings and you're ready to go! The router has an ADSL modem built in compatible up to 8mb/s downstream and 1mb/s upstream - so it's fully compatible with any ADSL for the next few years at least! Your computer should automatically detect the settings for you since the router has standard DHCP support. If your connection should go down as a result of your ISP or the exchange, the router automatically tries to re-establish connection without any user interaction.
The router comes with a very user-friendly web interface, which gives access to all the router's functions. From there you can set up DMZ, port forwarding, connections and some network diagnostic tools (such as pings, and MAC address finding) - It's a certainly a feature packed router.
The router comes with UPnP support, but I do not use it. I am not sure if it is the router or the operating system causing this, but I often experience UPnP breaks which is why I use standard port forwarding for my servers and workstations - so I can't see it being that much of a set back for anyone.
Also, I suggest you manually set the router's DNS settings, as it's auto-detect settings sometimes do not work with certain ISPs. Any decent ISP should have this information for you.
The router comes with 4 ports at the back, which are fully compatible with any switches/hubs and has a great response time.
I couldn't recommend this router enough - I've had quite a bit of personal experience with routers, and this must come near the top for features, stability is an extra bonus.
