I'm a little technologically impaired, so what does this do? It's simple: this gives internet access to multiple computers (you have to have a internet set-up with a company first, like BT).
Wow, sounds great! But how fast can the internet speed go up to with this thing? You can get an internet speed of up to 100.0 Mbps, although it varies depending on which service you subscribe to, and the speed of your computer.
Is it easy to set up? Yes, it is quite easy to set up, as I believe you get a CD which helps you in the installtion process. If you are finding it hard, you can receive help at most good computer stores.
Are there any set-backs to this thing? Yes, there is one major set back: the internet can stop working sometimes (I think it's something to do with the time set up on the DSL, and the actual time)...so the time has to be 're-matched' with the computer at certain times. Again, if you are finding this hard you can get help at any good computer store.
Does using it mea I have to pay extra for internet access? No. You pay the normal fee that you always would each month (or so).
Will it take up a lot of room? No, it's not a huge thing, no bigger an area than a portable DVD player. It's quite thin, and isn't tall...about 14cm tall.
How many computers can I plug up to the internet with this thing? You can route up to 4 computers, which is pretty good, I think.
