D-link DP-300U for all your printing needs
Review of D-Link DP 300U by
craggybuk
Advantages: Link upto 3 printers on 1 IP address. Simple setup
Disadvantages: None
...carried out via a wizard.
--Useage--
Once the setup has been completed, printing is seemless and operates just like printing to any other windows printer. As you have identified which printer is on which port in the installation, the D-link is able to route your job to the correct printer. We have 2 badge printers running off the print server and at certain times of the year the print server can process upto 500 requests a day with no bother at all.
--Verdict--
Since using this device, we have bought plenty more throughout the organisation as they are very reliable and easy to set up. There is very little maintenance involved once the initial setup has taken place. I would recommend this print server to the business and home user alike. It is a very nice bit of kit...

Go Wireless with D-Link
Review of D-Link Air DWL 650+ by
Deru
Advantages: Easy to set up and use, Stable, Good support
Disadvantages: A bit out dated
...The D-Link DWL-G650+ is a PCMCIA wireless (WiFi) card, which plugs into an available PCMCIA slot on a laptop. With this card, it wireless-enables a laptop, assuming it doesn't have built-in wireless already. The card cost me about £25 at the time but you may be able to find the same one cheaper now. Most of these seem to be in this price range if not less, since they are becoming redundant with new laptops already having built-in cards. It's a 802.11G card, which means theoretically, it can transfer 54Mbits/s but they never get to that speed. Most residential broadband connections nowadays only range up to 10Mbit/s.
INSTALLATION
I find the installation of this card has always been very easy. I just install the driver and software off the CD and then plug the card in. This literally takes minutes. Only thing I'm not too keen on is...

D-Link Bluetooth Adapter can make you happier
Review of D-Link PersonalAir DBT-122 by
cam3lot
Advantages: Saves you money, quick transfer from one device to another...
Disadvantages: None till now...
...SE, you have to restart your computer after the install in order to use your Bluetooth.
I love this tool, since I have it I changed all my music from my phone and not only; I can transfer my small videos from my phone into my computer, the same thing with my pictures and voice recordings.
To connect D-Link Bluetooth Adapter with another Bluetooth Device, you have to follow some small easy steps:
- if you have a phone which has Bluetooth, activate it;
- go on the toolbar and look for the Bluetooth icon (this shortcut was automatically made during the installation), once you found it - click the right button from your mouse, go on Quick Connect > Bluetooth Serial Port > Find devices.
- when the device will be found you have to click once again the mouse right button on the small blue icon and go on Explore my Bluetooth Places...
