Advantages: Cheap motoring, Cheaper VED (Road Tax) Disadvantages: Time to convert it, lose a bit of luggage space
costing me 19p a mile in petrol and only 10p a mile on gas. That was petrol at a little over a pound a litre. My own car costs me 7.5p a mile on LPG. I'm told it's green but my motivation was to escape stupid petrol prices. Oh and you get £15 off your VED when you tell the DVLA. You just send a copy of the LPGA cert that Alan gives you and a copy of the invoice and they send you a new tax disc, requiring you to send them the old one. My extra Insurance cost after I told them was Zero.
While today's LPG cost is 55.9p a litre you will only get about 90% of the petrol miles per gallon because the gas' calorific value is lower than petrol. Unless you've a sports car you won't notice any deterioration in performance.
Few downsides to this except that there are too few garages offering Autogas for sale. But you can download autogas ...
Advantages: Varied and interesting countryside with a wide range of towns villages. Disadvantages: conjested roads in summer , tends to close down in winter.
On my recent visit to Somerset a county in the south west of England this is what I did.

Also deep within the hills is one of the U.Ks foremost pot holing and caving areas. There are commercial caves to visit at Cheddar famous for its Gorge and Woo key Hole; witch is a huge underground cave system. Doctor who was once filmed there.
Moving along we come to the Cathedral city of Wells. With its awesome cathedral it ...

Advantages: Range of features- sturdy Disadvantages: Price

Current retail price is £79.99 - quite a lot of money considering this is not a technologically advanced digital piece, but what do you get for your money?
One of the biggest plus points for me is that the phone is sturdy, and quite heavy. This means it sits comfortably on a desk or table without being pulled all over the place by the cording. There is a plastic adaptor which can be joined to the base of the phone, which elevates the display screen to a more easily readable angle, and this in turn contributes to the overall sturdiness. The buttons ...
