Advantages: Intelligent Remote Layout, Fast EPG, Large 80GB HDD Disadvantages: Single tuner only, Teething Problems
Yup so i bit the bullet and went for a freeview pvr, was a little skeptical as reception round here isnt brilliant.
Went to my local dixons there were three boxes and daewoo being the only brand i really recognised, and after a recommendation from the sales assistant i went for it.
This box has 2 scarts on the rear, rgb output, stereo audio output as well as Coaxial Digital out. Now while the audio out is a very promising idea i dont believe it is that great since it appears to be lacking any sort of bass whatsoever leaving my technics hifi (previously reviewed) looking rather powerless as compared to the freeview experience offered by my previous box, Matsui DTR1.
The remote isn't too large, and has a good layout with clearly labelled buttons. It takes two AAA batteries which are NOT supplied which i found a bit stingy, although ...

Advantages: CD Multichanger, acres of space Disadvantages: High tax band, mpg
--Background--
We bought this car as a second car, two years ago. Previously, my wife had had the Daewoo Nexia for over 3 years with very little problems. We knew that Daewoo offered us no thrills but we also liked the smooth ride it gave. In the end we settled on a 51 reg CDX which set up back £4000.
--From the outside--
For those of you that are not aware, the Tacuma is classed as an MPV. I would say the shape is now slightly dated and I would liken the shape to the Renault Scenic. This model comes with the roof bars as standard and alloy wheels.
--From the drivers seat--
Road visibility is very good as you are higher up than a normal car. Saying that, I can not see the end of the bonnet from the drivers position. I am 5ft 10 so maybe someone significantly taller would not have a problem. The dashboard certainly ...

Advantages: Spacious Disadvantages: It leaked rusty water, lost all power and had clunky gears
From personal experience with the Daewoo Matiz (w Reg) i would not recommend this car. I was insured on this car but it belonged to my brother, and it had faults since we bought it. Maybe it was due to the fact that the car was not new, but even after we carried out repairs on it, the problems remained the same.
Our first problem with the car was the clunky gears, they were hard to move and often got stuck and made weird noises! It was annoying to say the least, but it was a problem my brother could just cope with considering it was low priced
However, on the way to work one morning, on a 70mph dual carriageway, my brother was driving at 20mph and i told him to put his foot down, but he did, the car just had lost all of its power for no apparent reason. After calling the RAC, we were advised to take it to a garage for a look over ...
