First of all, did you know Dawoo make engines for Mercedes? No, bet you didn't. Our Dawoo has gone like a dream, for boy racers, we've driven our Dawoe at 115 mph with some left in reserve, its quick on acceleration, the ride is a little bumpy but the car is very responsive. The gear change is slick, the interior is bland but adequate and the street cred. value errr, come back to that never!
The idea that attracted myself was the free servicing and insurance deals. Brilliant! This idea has hit Ford where it hurts so Ford have said they will buy out Dawoo no matter what the costs.
We have had no trouble with our Dawoo so far other than the fact of the bumpers. Plastic bumpers are so much better as the do not leave a mark. We have had several nudges where a respray has been required. Plastic bumpers would have been much better although they do look a little out of place.
I just hope Dawoo last out until I buy my next car!
