I am the proud owner of a Daewoo Lanos 1.6 auto and I have never had so many compliments about a car!! I bought it new in March 2000 and I believe it is a fabulous car. It has a sporty shape and metalic paint as standard - mine is an unusual Evergreen, and everyone (male & female) tells me they love the colour! It is a dream to drive - very smooth and very nippy. It is easy to park and ok on petrol. Of course the Daewoo deal is excellent. I did have to pay extra for an alarm, which I feel is a necessity. I think this is an excellent car for you if you care about your image. It looks good, handles well and is very good value for money.

Advantages: reliable, hard working, good looking, spacious, comfortable, Disadvantages: retail value drops a terrifying amount which is good for second handers.
