My Daewoo Lanos 1.6 Automatic saloon is a real find. It was my first Daewoo and I have had it from new since August 2003. I've never had a problem or fault with it and it feels spacious, luxurious in many ways and I can't fault the car or the Daewoo service. My only problem is that Daewoo does not hold it's value. I was shocked to have spent nearly £10,000 on it and to find two years later that is was worth £2400 but as I intend to keep it, it is not a problem for me. The automatic moves swiftly through the gears, the car feels stable and secure on the road, and even in high winds. The car parts are quick, easy and cheap to get (I needed a new side mirror and had no problem getting hold of one that same day) and the whole car feels more substantial and hard wearing than many. The petrol tank doesn't hold as much as I would like but this is hardly a major problem. I would happily replace this car with another the same and so would recommend this model without reservation.
