Very durable microwave! 14/07/2011

Advantages Looks alright, works great, lasts forever.
Disadvantages Basic, but it heats food up, so who cares!

I purchased the Daewoo KOR-6L15 manual microwave back in 2009 when it first came out, as it was the cheapest on the market, and my previous "computerised" microwave had given up the ghost after barely a year's use! The microwave isn't too heavy, but isn't lightweight either, if you know what I mean. It looks nice enough, and has the "DAEWOO" decal on the front, which looks nice enough with a bit of red in it to lift the blandness. It has 700 watts power, and is rated power group "D", which means it takes a little longer than a more expencive microwave to cook things, but doesn't take as long ... more

A cheap and easy to use microwave which I bought from ASDA 2 years ago. It is very very idiot proof... I can confirm this as I have been using it for the past two years almost every day without causing it to break down. It is surprisingly sturdy and has survived three home moves till now. It is a very very very (can I emphasise any more?) cheap and versatile piece of kitchenware which has been warming my food for the past two years! Definitely very good value for money... given 4 stars and not five just because it's so basic! :) I bought it when I had just started working and money was tight ... more
