Advantages: CD Multichanger, acres of space Disadvantages: High tax band, mpg
--Background--
We bought this car as a second car, two years ago. Previously, my wife had had the Daewoo Nexia for over 3 years with very little problems. We knew that Daewoo offered us no thrills but we also liked the smooth ride it gave. In the end we settled on a 51 reg CDX which set up back £4000.
--From the outside--
For those of you that are not aware, the Tacuma is classed as an MPV. I would say the shape is now slightly dated and I would liken the shape to the Renault Scenic. This model comes with the roof bars as standard and alloy wheels.
--From the drivers seat--
Road visibility is very good as you are higher up than a normal car. Saying that, I can not see the end of the bonnet from the drivers position. I am 5ft 10 so maybe someone significantly taller would not have a problem. The dashboard certainly ...

Advantages: Bright Discharge Bulb, Separate Colour and Gobo Wheels, Rugged Contruction/Build Quality Disadvantages: Heavy, Strobes using colour & Gobo Wheels, Lamp Cost

Good condition second-hand fixtures can be purchased individually for between £70-£100. I own four of theses lights and must say that for their age they will easily compete with most modern DJ fixtures.
The light output is bright and has a good 'true white' colour temperature due to the use of the 150W Metal Halide Discharge bulb. The units are very heavy though (weighing not too short of 10Kg each) however, i would much rather have this weight as it comes with durability unlike many of the new breakable plastic scanners appearing from china.
Built in light-show isn't great, and sound activation doesn't really seem ...
Advantages: Spacious Disadvantages: It leaked rusty water, lost all power and had clunky gears
From personal experience with the Daewoo Matiz (w Reg) i would not recommend this car. I was insured on this car but it belonged to my brother, and it had faults since we bought it. Maybe it was due to the fact that the car was not new, but even after we carried out repairs on it, the problems remained the same.
Our first problem with the car was the clunky gears, they were hard to move and often got stuck and made weird noises! It was annoying to say the least, but it was a problem my brother could just cope with considering it was low priced
However, on the way to work one morning, on a 70mph dual carriageway, my brother was driving at 20mph and i told him to put his foot down, but he did, the car just had lost all of its power for no apparent reason. After calling the RAC, we were advised to take it to a garage for a look over ...
