...I had been biking for years and always wanted a decent set of leathers that didnt cost an arm and a leg.I looked at all the usual high profile offerings on the market and did the usual quality/price comparison and thought that £500+ was about the best sort of price i could expect to pay for an off the peg 2 piece suit,but true to form none of the ones i liked fitted all that well.Too long in the leg or short and tight in the arms,and if i was a bit larger i would be stumped completly.So i started looking at made to measure and was gobsmacked at the prices and totally out of my budget.I would have given up altogether and carried on using my textile,but then i found a business card from leathertechuk and decided to check them out.At first i thought they would be one of them cheap as chips lot that flog crap at low prices ,but i was well... Advantages: Protection, style.
Disadvantages: Money!

...I decided to write this as I recently became a motorcycle enthusiast. I needed to buy things... I already had a decent helmet, gloves and boots but I needed a more winter orientated jacket. So I went shopping. High street. First there are high street motorcycle accessory stores. They tend to be very limited in motorcycle jackets... I wanted leather and not textile and found it difficult to find one. The second store I found was particularly useless as the cheapest jacket (although incredibly stylish) was 299 pounds and quite simply, I don'thave that sort of money. Motorcycle dealers Slightly cheaper and much more choice, I found. The bigger and more well known the store the better the range. Although most jackets I found were either two piece or brightly coloured (Not what I was looking for) and again the prices didn't vary... Read review

...This jacket (and matching jeans) is the evolution of the Hein Gericke tribal suit design which offered a decent set of leathers for a very reasonable price. I have one of the tribal suits and I would swear by it. Especially the price I paid for it at the time. Although I prefer the red/black/white colour scheme there is a choice of colours. I did catch a kerb a few years back trying to avoid a friend who's electrics had failed and the resultant earth-sky-earth could have been alot worse if I hadnt been wearing these. The result was a broken collerbone and thumb, The leathers stayed intact and apart from minor scuffing down one of the forearm flashes there is no other damage.
