Advantages Cheap, Does a great job
Disadvantages Need more liquid to wash up with than leading brands
We now have a dishwasher so rarely wash up but on occasions we wash up greasy pan to save the dishwashers filter. I'd always been a fan of Fairy but as Daisy was on offer in Tesco I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Daisy is a good price at 59p for 500ml where as Fairy is £1.25 for 433ml.
Daisy comes in a clear, soft plastic bottle with a red dispenser at the top. The soft plastic allows you to squirt the liquid into the water. The bottle is not too different from other washing up liquids and doesn't particularly stand out. The bottle is plastic so it can be recycled after use.
There is no particular fragrance to this washing up liquid...This may be due to the fact that I opt for the antibacterial version over a scented one.I did find with this liquid you did have to put a little more in than the leading brand and also the water got less effective after a shorter amount of time. So where as fairy would do a whole washing up load you would have to re fill the bowl half way through. If you have a dishwasher and only wash a few things it's great but if you only wash up I would opt for the leading brand.
As a washing up liquid I found it left glasses clean and removed the grease well.I will remain buying this washing up liquid as for me its value for money. Another good discounted brand
