Of the many machines purchased so far, only one was dead-on-arrival and this was promptly replaced the following working day. The biggest features of Dan are the fact that their machines are of extremely high build quality and always designed with upgradeability in mind. The ... ...do decide to purchase from DAN (or most other companies actually) then I recommend paying the extra to get on-site cover for breakdowns - DAN machines are good but not infallible (no-ones are) and Dan's response time to breakdown is extremely prompt. The only drawback I can think of is that they may seem slightly more pricey than some, but here you definately get what you pay for.

The after sales support is excellent - no hanging listening to music here - if technical staff are all busy you are told they will ring you back within an hour AND THEY DO ! My previous computer was a Dan with a 133 Pentium. It gave good service and I was impressed with the telephone support (once I got through) when I wanted to upgrade. I remember at the time the machine was one of the cheapest.
