And then it started - twelve contestants were sttranded on a remote desert island - and for weeks the public watched as Jonny Gibb and Susannah Moffat voted off the other contestants, making their way to the final two. The final vote was no surprise - Jonny won the £1 million prize (although I reside in the 'Susannah should have won because she played a better game' camp), and his life changed forever.
Survivor: Panama still didn't manage to pull in too many viewers, but it did do better than the previous series, and at least that's something.
And a good reality TV show always has a book to accompany it, and I'm here to tell you about the official companion to Survivor 2.

Penny Dale has illustrated many books for Walker as well as illustrating her own stories (these include Bet you can't!, The elephant tree and Wake up Mr B!). For this book she asked her friends and neighbours to model for the illustrations and then imagined what each person will look like as they age.

...Yum, Yum, Yummy, is a hardback book from the Walker Books range. The Author is Martin Waddell and is illustrated by John Bendall-Brunello.
It is the story of mummy bear who sends her cubs to the honey-bee tree to collect a pot of honey each. But... beware little cubs, hiding behind the tree is Greedy Guzzly Bear - He's big and he's scary and he's after their honey.
The little bear cubs run home to mummy crying because he's eaten their honey. Next time mummy bear sends her cubs for honey she lies in wait for Greedy Guzzly Bear and she is bigger and more frightening than her. He never bothers her cubs again.
What I like about the story is that there is only about 4 lines of text to each page and thick, black bold print is used. My 4 year old son choose this story for himself from the library (he's 4). My first thoughts were...
