Overview
I bought this USBflashdrive direct from Toshiba, to transfer data between my laptop and desktop PC's.
The first thing I noticed is that it is small and light, but it looks and feels a bit flimsy with its white plastic body, and there is some give in the plastic body when you grip it to plug it in, which did not inspire me with much confidence in it.
It has a seperate small silver plastic cap, which could be very easy to misplace, but it clips firmly to the main body, so it would not easily fall off, even when dropped, and unlike some drives you do get a lanyard with it.
However, in use it has proved to be very reliable and it is a lot more robust than it looks and feels, it has survived me dropping it onto my hard stone tiled floor on more than one occasion with no damage or malfunctions whatsoever.

I use USBflashdrives frequently and regularly have to replace them, I carry them with my car keys which especially with laptops they bend. And I can finally say that I have found one that can take anything!!
This gadget is encased in rubber, is water resistant and comes with a 10 year manufactures guarantee, which shows you how robust they are. It is not the smallest of pens yet I find those are the one which are most likely to fail, however it is not that large either. So if you value your data rather than squeezing it in your wallet, I would highly recommend this product. I bought one for £18 over a year ago and whilst in my lap top my dog sat beside me and knocked it which resulted in a loose connection, and the manufacture replaced it for me, new for old. They are ~ £13 from Amazon now so a bargain.

I am really impressed with the classy look and design of this USBflashdrive. Particularly as it has no cap, so there is no fear of losing caps any more. It is also very light, small compact and very stylish. In my personal opinion, this flashdrive works better with Vista compared to XP. Though nowadays, people usually use USBflashdrive with much more storage capacity such as 4GB, 8GB or even 32 GB.
