My second surprise was that these yoghurts are made by Danone, I thought they made hair and beauty products, sorry I digress. Anyway I bought two packs of four. Special offer, BOGOF.

Advantages: Tastes good, and is healthy. Disadvantages: Moorish.
I am not a big yoghurt eater, mainly because seem to be (whenever I read the ingredients) pretty much all full of sugar and/or fat. That, and the fact that I do not have a particularly sweet tooth. However there is nothing like being told to cut down (even further) on ones sugar and fat content to make one want some!
So in the Co-op today I saw these Activia fat free cherry yoghurts and idlly picked one up to look at whilst my wife was deciding ... ...an exciting life we lead!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the 'sugar' content was fructose, or fruit sugar, so much better for me as a diabetic than the usual sugar. It was the fat free that drew my attention in the first place.

So cultured! Review ofDanone Activia Fat Free Cherry Yoghurtby
elbar
Advantages: Tasty and healthy Disadvantages: None
Danone Activia come in a range of lovely flavours, mainly typically fruity yoghurt flavours. This review is about the cherry variety. Not my absolute favourite Activia yoghurt but still very tasty!
TASTE
I find that live yoghurts have a slightly dry taste on my tongue. They are not as creamy as non-live yoghurts. This is apparently because of the cultures in them. They are still tasty though. The first time I tried them, the dryness put me off ... ...converted! They are extremely fruity, with lots of big chunks of cherries in them. I love these bits but I know as a child I hated yoghurt with any hint of texture at all. So perhaps for kids they wouldn't be that great. I was a very fussy eater though. The cherries can sometimes have a slightly odd taste. I guess because they are so big, you expect them to taste like fresh cherries but they don't. However, they are very delicious!

This is a 0% fat yoghurt so an ideal choice for my rounded tummy. There are 72 calories in a pot with 125grams of yoghurt in it.
Open the foil lid from the plastic pot and the yoghurt looks thick and creamy it is a cherry red colour .The taste is nice a subtle cherry flavour . the texture smooth and creamy , hang on a bit there are a few pieces of cherry in the yoghurt these are nice a bit of a ...
